JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop and execute recruitment strategies in collaboration with Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure employer brand awareness and successful talent acquisition across the organization in support of the mission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.

The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for all properties within the company’s portfolio.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following :

Recruitment Strategy & Tactics

• Lead the end-to end recruitment process, develop innovative sourcing strategies, and build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring experience for both the company and candidate.
• Support property HR teams as it relates to the full lifecycle of recruitment for internal and external candidates including areas such as job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negation, while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws as well as an extraordinary candidate experience.
• Responsible for direct Full-Lifecycle Recruitment of assigned hourly and exempt level positions
• Assists with execution, adoption and sustainment of ongoing recruitment strategies and solutions
• Monitor performance of recruitment channels for key performance indicators
• In partnership with the Director of Talent Acquisition, creates and facilitates updated SOPs and training materials for the HR team, Hiring Managers, etc.
• Partners with location-based HR team and assists hotel locations with pre-opening, mass hiring, executive role positions & extended time to fill challenges
• Provides support, tools, recommendations, and assistance with ensuring successful hiring events
• Support new hotel transitions; coordinate with on property efforts, career fairs, task force, job postings, recruiting of exempt and non-exempt associates, offer letters and on-boarding
• Promote diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts by implementing best practices, mitigating bias, and fostering a culture of belonging and equity throughout the talent acquisition process.

College Recruiting Relationship Management

• Develop partnerships with Colleges, Universities, and Technical Schools attending careers fairs, information sessions, and seeking out new avenues to increase student awareness of opportunities.
• Create and foster relationships with colleges to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
• Develop and improve internship and Manager in Training programs by partnering with Property and Corporate leaders on requirements, needs, and planning.

Employer Branding & Marketing

• Monitors and updates the career recruitment websites.
• Monitors and efficiently utilizes company profiles on supported job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, etc. ensuring updated and relevant recruitment materials, images, videos, and branding.
• Partners with internal and external Marketing / PR resources to ensure the Kessler Story is told in a way that would attract desired talent
• Reviews recruitment tool kits (collateral, flyers) for job fairs and community engagement

Applicant Tracking System Administrator

• Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing.
• Serves as an ATS resource for all stakeholders performing applicant tracking system training as needed.
• In conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition, creates and presents updated materials, job aids, and training when implementing new features of the ATS.
• Recommends and implements continuous improvement of recruitment processes, tools, and solutions.

Additional

• Evaluate successful sourcing strategies and recruitment performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Reviews ing on staffing activities, application flow, time to hire and recruitment for all open positions and partners with the Talent Acquisition team to create solutions.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, vendors, and partners, ensuring alignment with company values and expectations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related training equivalent -preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant recruitment experience – required
• Experience with employment / recruitment related risks and laws – required
• Hospitality industry experience – required
• Experience with successful College partnerships – preferred
• Luxury brand experience – preferred
• Similar size organization – preferred
• Fast paced / entrepreneurial / high change / growing company – preferred
• Familiar with UKG or iCIMS – preferred
• Experience with implementation of ATS system – preferred
• Microsoft suite : Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint – Required
• Valid driver’s license – required

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be comfortable working independently and with a team as needed.
• Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with / or without the use of a private office
• Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Extended and simultaneous use of multiple computer monitors, simultaneous use of phone, keyboard, and mouse
• Regular lifting and maneuvering of up 20lbs on a daily basis
• Travel by foot, car, bus, airplane or other means of transportation which require sitting, waiting and standing for long and short periods of time
