Data Entry Clerk

We are currently looking for a part-time Data Entry Clerk, you will be working closely with the accounting team to complete monthly deadlines. You will be exposed to many aspects of bookkeeping/accounting to learn from the team throughout the process.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and process invoices for payment and update invoice details accordingly.
• Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
• Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
• Manage and organize records and files.
• Prepare relevant reports as needed.

Data Entry Requirements and Qualifications

• Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
• Excels in a high-paced work environment.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Self-starter who works well independently.
• Previous data entry experience or related office experience is an asset.
• Ability to think analytically.
• Strong computer skills.
• Preference given to experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Comfortable with office equipment including a computer, telephone, scanner, calculator, and photocopier.
• Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately.

Pay: Will be hourly, rate to be based on evaluation of attitude and skills but will not be less than eighteen dollars per hour.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.65-$27.50 per hour
