JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounting Manager is a key role on an integrated team of accounting professionals that work together to deliver on kept.pro’s mission: providing small businesses with the financial information and insight they need to compete in their respective industries. This position will need to exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance that will impact both our clients and our financial wellbeing. You are a critical thinker, are able to teach your team how to think critically, and will jump in to solve problems and create solutions. The Accounting Manager is comfortable with a high email volume and leans into technology to work efficiently and collaboratively.
The ideal candidate strikes a balance between being a leader as well as a doer. As a leader, you will train, lead and develop a team of bookkeepers and review their work. As a doer, you enjoy preparing and reviewing financial reporting packages with clients as well as the opportunity to be heads down and work on more complex accounting tasks as a “solutions architect”.
