KeolisAmey Metrolink Hiring for HR Advisor at Manchester Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and passionate HR Advisor to join our People and Leadership Team on a 12-month fixed term basis. The role is key to supporting the delivery of our People commitments and ensuring an engaging and inclusive environment for all.

Reporting into the HR Business Partner for Service Delivery, the HR Advisor will provide operational support to our frontline management teams on all HR matters and contributing to key projects to enhance the capability of our leadership teams and improve the employee experience.

Key responsibilities will include;

Coaching line managers to successfully manage employee relations issues through to resolution.

Provide advice and support on all Discipline and Grievance matters.

Provide focused support on management of sickness absence cases to reduce impacts on the company.

Deliver initiatives to upskill line managers on HR policies, best practice and how to effectively lead teams.

Maintain effective Union relationships.

Handle HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements, gaining expert advice when necessary.

Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns.

Essential for the role is;

CIPD qualified

A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a HR team

Excellent communication skills

Excellent written language skills

Good organisation and planning

Able to easily foster and develop relationships (internally and externally)

Confident, professional and flexible
