Working with leaders across the Trust, you will deliver activity that improves the services we provide and supports our commitment to nurturing and developing our people; ensuring learning is agile and accessible to all and that we continue to grow a sustainable workforce through robust talent management processes and accompanying development programmes.
Your role is to provide a first-class portfolio of Learning and Development activities that provide our colleagues with the knowledge, skills and behaviours in our CARE Values and our Leaders’ and Managers’ Behaviour Framework. This includes induction, workforce development and leadership and management development.
A key element of this role is to increase management capacity and capability through reviewing, designing, implementing and facilitating leadership and management development, as part of the Leadership Academy.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of the People Strategy to approx. 5000 KCHFT employees. You will design and deliver learning and development interventions, with the support of the wider Talent and Development Team, focusing on leadership and management development.
You’ll facilitate leadership development initiatives primarily via MS Teams and occasionally face to face. This role includes oversight of induction and workforce learning and development, You will be responsible for the operational management of the Learning and Development Specialist and Officer and will be responsible for providing L&D expertise to support and develop the wider Education and Development Team. You will be expected to deputise for the Head of Talent and Development when appropriate.
