ADMISSIONS OFFICER

FROM: November 2022

The Admissions Officer will join the existing Admissions and Marketing Team, to contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service and communication and ultimately the achievement of the
School’s objectives. Reporting to the Head of Admissions, the Admissions officer will spend time at both school sites assisting the team with Easter Revision and Summer School admissions as well and providing administrative support for the Admissions team. The Admissions Officer will be happy to travel internationally to represent the School at educational fairs, agent visits and other promotional events.

THE ROLE

The Admissions Officer will join the existing Admissions and Marketing Team, to contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service and communication and ultimately the achievement of the School’s objectives. Reporting to the Head of
Admissions, the Admissions officer will spend time at both school sites assisting the team with Easter Revision and Summer School admissions as well and providing administrative support for the Admissions team. The Admissions Officer will be happy to travel internationally to represent the School at educational fairs, agent visits and other promotional events.

Key responsibilities are detailed below:

• Respond to both email and telephone enquiries from potential applicants, parents and agents in a timely manner
• Provide advice to potential applicants and their agents about the Easter Revision and KPS Summer School programmes
• Manage the application process through each stage of the process; acknowledging applications, inputting data and decisions onto the admissions systems, generating offer letters and assisting with the visa process as required
• Working closely with the UKVI Compliance Manager to ensure we have the correct documentation for international students on the programmes
• Maintain information flow within the department to support student recruitment and retention
• Collation and distribution of Welcome Packs to students joining the Easter

Revision and KPS Summer School programmes

• Obtaining the necessary student information, including Medical/Consent forms, parental consent and flight details prior to the programmes starting
• Working closely with Airport Angels on the arrival and departure of students joining the KPS Summer School
• Liaising with the Head of Boarding regarding room allocations and arrival details
• Being available on arrival and departure days to resolve any issues with taxis or flights
• Providing the Head of Admissions with weekly reports on recruitment on the Easter and Summer programmes

• Attending overseas fairs to promote KPS and its programmes
• Assisting the Head of Admissions to organise and deliver key admissions events to include Open Events, Welcome and Taster Days, Results Day and Enrolment
• Prioritising the safeguarding of all students and participating in training on safeguarding matters

• Educated to degree level

Desirable

• Experience of using iSAMS
• School admissions experience
