Position Summary
ing to and working closely with the Marketing & Communications Director, the Social Media & Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media and content strategy that enhances brand awareness, engages our target audience, and promotes the unique craftsmanship of the Kennedy brand and products. This role requires a keen understanding of luxury markets, an eye for visual aesthetics, and the ability to leverage social media trends to elevate Kennedy’s brand presence.
This role is based in Kennedy’s Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with overall brand objectives, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation across platforms.
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to continually optimise strategy.
Create visually compelling and on-brand content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging visuals that showcase the artistry and uniqueness of our luxury products.
Foster and engage with an online community of brand enthusiasts, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build strong customer relationships.
Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and engagement.
Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with product launches, brand events, and seasonal promotions.
Utilise analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies for optimal performance.
Ensure a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media channels, reflecting the luxury, elegance, and prestige associated with our brand.
Monitor social media platforms for trends, mentions, and conversations related to the brand.
Provide regular s on social media performance, highlighting key metrics and insights.
Work closely with all media, creative, content, and public relations agencies ensuring constant alignment with the Kennedy brand strategy in order to maximize opportunities and results.
Work with internal stakeholders on content creation for marketing campaigns & collateral across all internal and external touch points.
Assist in the roll out of content relating to new sponsorship/partnership opportunities.
Proactively participate in cross-functional efforts to shape synergies that benefits the brand holistically.
Work strategically and collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across Retail and Head Office for all matters involving and impacting the Marketing function.
Provide support to the marketing team and internal stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities may Include.
Curating and writing engaging and inspiring EDM copy, working closely with the senior graphic designer and merchandise teams to ensure products featured are appropriate and reflect the Kennedy brand.
Curating and writing SEO optimised content for the Kennedy website.
Demonstrating strong technical knowledge of evolving digital & social media landscape, leading a digital first media strategy with agency partners.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
4+ years previous experience within a fast-paced environment.
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, commerce, or a related business discipline.
Possess either an agency side background, client/business side background or both.
Experience or exposure to luxury retail is advantageous.
Strong visual storytelling skills with a focus on creating engaging and shareable content.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt the brand voice to various platforms.
Passion for technological innovation and creative technology.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; creative thinker who can contribute to content and brand marketing projects.
