Who you are:

A passionate assistant accountant with at least one year accounting experience, strong excel and system skills along with a can-do attitude as well as a customer service centric ethos.

The Role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and processing of month end accounting tasks including accruals, prepayment, reconciliations, allocations, and recharges.
• Preparation of statutory monthly and quarterly tax returns – AUS & NZ.
• Assisting with the Fixed Assets Register.
• Assisting with year-end processes, including internal and external audits and other compliance requirements
• Providing Account Receivable support including invoicing, follow up & age receivable reconciliations and reports.
• Providing accounting and system support to self-storage centres.
• Support team members to resolve business, bank reconciliations and finance related enquiries.
• Identify improvement opportunities, make recommendations, and help implement process changes across the finance function and business.
