This position directs and supervises sales team (Marketing Associates) to achieve occupancy goals. Manages content creation and design for website, print and digital marketing to enhance the Kendal at Lexington brand and attract and nurture prospective resident leads. Manages communications (including assistance with resident communications website portal). s to CEO. Member of the Core Leadership Team.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Five or more years of experiences in business, non-profit, marketing/sales or equivalent. Hands on – proven retirement housing sales experience desirable. Strong leadership and management skills. Strong written communication skills, knowledge of the field and the ability to interface digitally with a variety of stakeholders, including prospects, residents and staff. Website content and design management t experience, maintenance lead tracking, computer data base and word processing skills are essential. Self-starter, team player, enjoys working with older people, good listener, and able to maintain confidentiality. Professional appearance and demeanor required. Marketing and development experience preferred.
Specific Duties:
1. Meet budgeted occupancy goals. (Monthly s to CFO and Finance Committee of the Board.)
2. Manages and directs the marketing and sales staff to include day to day direction, assignment of tasks, evaluation of performance, mentoring and coaching staff, managing time and attendance.
3. Enhances and maintains digital and print marketing initiatives identified in collaboration with KaLex leadership designed to engage prospective residents, enhance the Kendal brand and generate qualified leads including the following marketing channels: website, social media, and search engine optimization, paid ad placement, news releases, e-mail marketing/E-blasts, and newsletters.
4. In cooperation with the Facilities Department, assists in the management of the renovation process for apartments and cottages for new move-ins.
5. Oversee CRM (customer relation management) database and s.
6. Manage email and marketing automation.
7. Manage on-site and virtual events
8. Manage departmental budget.
9. Maintains positive relationships with residents.
10.Manages KaLex’s on line reputation by monitoring for and ing on negative false reviews and showcasing positive reviews.
11.Assists with creation of digital and print marketing materials such as newsletters, press releases, marketing packets, invitations and similar projects.
12.As time allows and in conjunction with KaLex leadership, assists with public relations activities such as special events, identifying opportunities for growing community relationships and referral sources.
13.Develops and grows relationships in the local and surrounding communities
14.Manages photo galleries and digital media.
15. Publicizes Kalex community activities
16.Formats sales aspects of website
17.Ensures that all Web inquiries are accessible for follow up by sales and marketing team.
18.Compiles monthly and annual s relating to Web traffic, conversation rates, qualified lead generation and on-line trends.
