Kempston Controls Hiring for Software Engineer Job at Rushden, East of England, England Full Time

In this role you will be responsible for further development of the company’s software solutions, the development of which will help drive efficiency gains and deliver world class data migration feeds to suppliers across the business. You will need to gather business requirements from stakeholders and in turn deliver accurate and comprehensive solutions using predominantly the .NET Technology Stack.

We are looking for someone with good skills in the .NET Technology stack, strong T-SQL programming skills and knowledge in data migrations.

Responsibilities

• Designing and analysing applications and software programs

• Ability to produce concise and well-documented designs and code

• Identify software gaps and suggest alternatives

• Working knowledge of web services or other integration technologies

• Participation in every part of the software development life cycle

• Analysing and revising software errors to improve programs

• Conducting extensive unit testing of applications and programs

• Determining and analysing program requirements

• Design and implement data migration solution

• Perform quality checks on data and extracts

• Database development and optimisations

• Development of Stored Procedures

Role Requirements:

• 2-3 years – webservices, VB.Net / C#, Jscript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

• SQL Management, writing stored procedures

• SSRS / PowerBI

• SSIS

• Scribe advantageous

Benefits

37.5 hour working week (8:30 – 17:00).
