Kelowna Wellness Clinic Hiring for Receptionist at Kelowna, BC Full Time

The Kelowna Wellness Clinic is a multi-disciplinary clinic that has been serving the Okanagan Valley for nearly 15 years. We’re looking for a dynamic and friendly person to join our team on a full-time basis. The position will be Mon-Fri and may require a little bit of flexibility in your schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving patients
• Booking patients
• Collecting payments
• Insurance billing
• Ordering stock.

These are some of the qualifications we seek:

• Strong retail and customer experience and a familiarity with day-to-day operations of a medical clinic
• Relevant training or experience in the medical field, such as Medical Office Assistant training or Medical Unit Clerk is an asset
• Adaptability and capacity to multi-task
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
• Strong proficiency with computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and clinic management programs – experience with Jane is an asset
• Self-motivated to balance and organize a number of responsibilities in a medical environment, while ensuring attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
• Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
