Kelly Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at New York, NY Full Time

Kelly has an amazing opportunity for a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join an established Financial Technology (Fintech) startup in the Madison Square Garden area of Manhattan. This is a hybrid role that is currently fully remote until renovations on the office are complete; approximately late August. Then it will be 2-3 days in office each week. Our partner offers Direct Hire, a starting salary of $80,000 – $90,000, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes many innovative perks on top of a solid foundation of traditional offerings. In this role, you will provide direction to hiring managers and candidates by building relationships, becoming a trusted advisor, and developing a solution based recruiting strategy.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Leading the entire hiring process and setting the direction for company recruiting strategies to achieve optimal results
• Conducting detailed intake sessions to understand business requirements and develop an engaging value proposition that can be communicated to candidates to sell the opportunities of the role
• Building sourcing strategies that tap into internal talent pools, diverse markets, and external matches while actively providing qualified internal prospects and ensuring efficient sourcing channels
• Providing solutions including assessment recommendations to narrow the candidate pool to find the best fits
• Supporting hiring managers inn compensation conversation to keep in line with salary bands, peer ranges, market data, and direct peer comparisons
• Ensuring effective candidate management providing detailed review of role, overview of compensation & benefits, key messages, resignation mentoring, and assisting with closing
• Leading adherence to policies and guidelines in all recruitment activities to enable operational excellence and identifying risks
• Mentoring other members of the team and building a culture of excellence

Skills and Requirements:

• 3-5 years corporate in-house recruitment experience strongly preferred
• Detailed understanding of the local market and rules & regulations as they relate to recruitment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences by tailoring messages accordingly
• Common sense, critical thinking skills, and a developed sense of urgency
• Strong client relationship management capabilities that result in building strong, effective, and trusted relationships and networks
• Familiar with promoting on social media/professional platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software
