Kelly Services is seeking an experienced accounts receivable clerk for the Dulles, VA area. Career opportunity with a starting salary ranging from $60-$70,000 year with benefits.

Salary: $60-$70,000 Year

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM- can work remote (from Home) a few days a week. Most go onsite 1x per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Main focus of this position are the accounts receivable, billing and collections duties.
• Assist in preparing invoices via SAP for both weekly and monthly customers
• Provide weekly and monthly invoices to customers
• Research billing discrepancies and quickly address any issues delaying the billing process
• Heavy internal and external interface.
• Supports the credit and collection policies and procedures
• Assists customers (via phone calls and emails) with research issues concerning the customer’s statements, past due amounts, invoices and accounts related to AR/Billing/collections.
• Works cross-departmentally daily to investigate and resolve any billing issues preventing timely payment of invoices
• Working with customers and Sales to maximize cash received
• Identifies and communicates customer issues to account manager/sales rep in a timely manner
• Assist in posting all cash received, some manually and some via automated uploads
• Researching and reconciling customer accounts
• Assist in providing requested audit documentation.
• Serving as a backup for other Billing and A/R Team members
• Performs other duties as assigned

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• SAP experience preferred
• 2 years Billing/Accounts Receivable/Collections experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills – must be comfortable managing multiple priorities, keeping detailed notes, and following through on all action items
• Intermediate Excel Skills required – should be comfortable with data sorting, vlookup formulas, data filtering and pivot tables
• Strong communication skills required – must be comfortable collaborating with remote personnel, customers and co-workers at all levels
• College degree or work experience equivalent to a college degree.
