Kelley Connect Co Hiring for Digital Print Operator at Seattle, WA Full Time

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced large and small format digital print operator who has the necessary skills and experience to roll up his or her sleeves and jump right into the production workflow without supervision or training. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of organization and will have sufficient technical expertise to effectively prioritize and manage the fast-paced, digital printing workload. Must be highly committed to delivering top notch customer service and precision quality document reproduction on a tightly managed production schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Able to review complex and diverse print orders and manage each print job from start to finish, including file preparation, printing, scanning, file management, coordinating projects with other departments, and performing bindery and finishing services.
• Maintaining strict document quality control procedures and taking ownership of each project you work on.
• Changing paper rolls and toner and performing basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Adhering to our high level of customer service and always meeting customer deadlines.
• Maintaining an organized, clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating digital printing and copying equipment without supervision.
• Working knowledge of digital printing RIP software such as: SmartStream, Onyx, Flexi and Fiery.
• Comprehensive knowledge of preparing documents for print output – including file conversion, resizing documents, setups, and imposition, and managing print workflows.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing a
• Communicating directly with customers and other departments to coordinate print projects.
• Strong file management and organizational skills.
