Position : Talent Acquisition Specialists To : Director of Human Resources Department : Human ResourcesPosition Summary : The Talent Acquisition Specialist will have a heavy focus on recruitment / talent acquisition and is responsible for partnering with the Director of Human Resources and Hiring Managers to identify key recruiting needs.
Utilizes effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent to ensure job vacancies are filled efficiently with the best matched candidates.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Partners with Director of Human Resources to implement recruitment strategies that are appropriate for business needs and consistent with Dream Golf’s overall HR strategy applicable to Sand Valley.
Cultivates and maintains ongoing strong working relationships with the other Executive leaders and Department Managers in order to understand the business needs, workforce planning strategies, recruitment needs and to create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process.
Collaborates with the Director of Human Resources to develop recruitment programs and identifies sources to attract qualified applicants;
writes and places job advertisements in various media.Identifies and builds relationships with key universities, vocational, trade, and culinary schools.
Attends job fairs, college / university recruiting, and networking, both physically and virtually.Initiates contact, reviews resumes and screens candidates for vacancies within the resort.
Routes candidates to appropriate Hiring Managers and informs all candidates not selected for hire or reroute to alternate job posting.
Conducts reference and background checks, extends job offers and initiates job offer letters.Ensures timely follow-up with candidates to provide a positive candidate experience.
Initiates onboarding to candidates selected for hire and schedule new hire orientation. Research and networks with passive candidates in an effort to build a pipeline of key talent available for immediate and future needs.
Analyzes recruiting trends and identifies areas of opportunity. Works with marketing team to identify recruiting / promotional material needs to market resort.
Creates job descriptions and establishes a systematic review process with Director of Human Resources and Hiring Managers.
Develops and coordinates internal job posting program, writes and maintains postings.Facilitates the generation of weekly Candidate Tracking Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : BS / BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field preferred. 4 years of applicable hospitality, hotel / resort, golf, and / or culinary recruitment experience including evaluating ever changing market solutions to source and market effectively.
Experience using sourcing channels such as social media, job boards, niche job boards, and partnerships with community groups and colleges.
Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision;
work flexible hours as required.Knowledge of basic HR concepts and ability to provide general assistance in other areas of HR department.
This position is onsite with flexibility to work remotely occasionally depending on business needs.Skills and Qualities : Experience with HRIS, HCM.
or ATS systems is required. Experience with ADP is a plus. Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Physical Requirements : Must have the ability to : Read and write (English)Communicate verbally and in writing. Lengthy periods of time on the telephone or use of collaboration platforms.
Presentation and public speaking skills are required. The ability to travel via golf cart, car or air plan is required. The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time as well as walk about properties.
