Primary Responsibilities:
The Commercial Strategy Analyst will to the Senior Manager of Commercial Strategy and work in support of the Sales/Business Development teams. This position will contribute across a broad range of analytics such as actual customer performance versus contract expectations, overall support of the business proposal process (i.e. related financial, operational, and business analytics), and other ad hoc projects. This position will routinely engage with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across broad functional areas. Essential Functions:
- Routine maintenance of key administrative documents such as tracking of contracts, customer relationships, and related details, timelines, and deliverables.
- Customer Performance activities such as analysis of actual performance versus contract expectations, review and recommend changes to market discounts, and related ing.
- Administration of pricing updates, discount changes, incentive calculations, other general rebates, and necessary communication thereof to stakeholders.
- Oversee the Sales Pipeline process including all related ing, gathering of Pipeline data, and leading regular discussion/review.
- Compile, publish and regularly update ing related to Onboarding, inclusive of leading monthly reviews.
- Continuously review and improve existing processes and ing.
- Take initiative to share best practices with peers and continuously develop new value-added analytics.
- Interface and collaborate cross-functionally across a broad range of activity.
- Manipulate, execute, and/or author a wide range of data queries.
- Analyze large amounts of raw data for the purposes of general ing, business insights, and ad-hoc requests.
- Coordinate multiple time-sensitive deliverables at any given time.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
- Local candidates only. This role will be remote by default, however some in-office/in-person time will be required for training, team projects, or other activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field of study.
- Minimum one year of experience in a previous analyst role.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with relational databases (AS400, SQL, Access, PowerBI, etc.).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Clear communication both written and verbal.
- Team-first approach to overall work and success.
- Experience in Food, Grocery, or Distribution industries preferred but not required
