Keep It Up Tutoring Hiring for K-5 Tutor Job at Isanti, MN Full Time

Reading and math tutors wanted for K-5 students. You will work with students in-person, typically in their homes.

Keep It Up Tutoring believes in the Science of Reading and teaching reading with the Structured Literacy approach. We are looking for like-minded tutors.

Our fall semester of tutoring begins in September.

Tutors will meet with students for 30 minutes, 2 times a week. Typical hours will be after school (4 pm-7 pm Mon-Thur), however, you are free to set your own schedule with families.

Travel areas include Isanti, Cambridge, and possibly East Bethel, MN.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree (degree in education preferred)

– Teaching license

– At least two years of experience working with children as a teacher or tutor (work with students who have learning challenges preferred)

– Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

– Must be able to commit to at least one semester working with the same students at set times/days

– Working, reliable vehicle

– Clear background check

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $24.75 per hour
