Our client, based in the North Shore, are a growing construction and design firm. They are seeking an experienced, engaging and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join a close knit finance team and make an impact.

You will receive a supportive team environment and training from experienced Financial professionals to broaden your experience and build a long term career within this successful and innovative firm. Your typical duties include (but are not limited to):

• Processing of all accounts payable invoices
• Follow up of all outstanding invoices with the relevant internal stakeholder
• Ensuring all invoices are processed in time for month end statements
• Ensuring all supplier and customer details are accurate in the system and constantly maintained
• Ensuring the weekly payment run is complete in a timely manner and meets payment terms
• Reconciliation of Supplier statements
• Raise Purchase orders for approval (as required)
• Processing internal staff expenses

To be successful, you must have:

• 3+ year experience in a similar role – Construction industry experience is highly desirable
• Existing experience using MYOB and Office products
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and ‘think outside of the box’
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• A team approach and the desire to help others
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
