We are currently seeking an HR Officer to join our HR People Team, responsible for providing HR Generalist support to ensure the successful delivery of HR Services across the business. As a HR Officer you will support in managing a variety of different operational processes and cases through to successful conclusion.
What will I be doing?
Key accountabilities include:
Being part of an operational People Service function which supports the company’s overall aims and objectives
Responsible for effective and accurate input and maintenance of all employee data on relevant people systems
Administer and coordinate the full employee life cycle, including new starter and leaver processes
Provide first level advice on employee core and flexible benefit queries
Monitor sickness absence, including notification of absence triggers and coordination of supporting documents
Provide payroll administration support to ensure accuracy of monthly pay cycles
Produce regular reports, sharing with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Provide proactive advice, guidance and support to all employees considering people solutions which drive best practice, fairness and reduce risk for the business
Provide first level case management support to managers in resolving employee relations issues
Work with the People Partners and specialist teams, to support the successful implementation of people projects and help drive people best practise throughout the business
Work with employees and managers, advising on HR matters and issues.
Support People Partners and the wider HR team to craft creative people solutions that deliver value
Provide effective and proactive case management in support of People Partners
Take a lead role in continuous improvement across all areas of HR
Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Function by working in a flexible and highly collaborative way
What do I need to do this job?
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced HR function in an administrative capacity.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the business, both verbally and in writing.
Good time management skills are essential, as you will need to work accurately and at speed whilst effectively prioritising your workload to multiple, and sometimes conflicting, deadlines to deliver targets and objectives.
Excellent IT skills are also essential with an appreciation of new technology and the ability to learn new tasks and systems quickly and efficiently.
As you will be working with personal information, confidentiality and discretion is key.
