Top notch global manufacturer looking for a sharp Design Engineer for their New Product Development team. In this role you will manage the mechanical design of products while providing leadership through rigorous use of lean tools and processes. Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of fluid mechanics and structural analysis relating to fluid handling equipment.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in various manufacturing processes such as casting, injection molding, machining, metal forming.
• Proficient at 3D CAD (prefer Solidworks) and familiar with FEA & CFD software (prefer Ansys).
• Diverse technical background with hands-on and analytical capabilities.
• Strong business acumen to understand the impact engineering decisions have on every aspect of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and continuously improve engineering standards (design, testing, etc.) and processes. Understand their impact to the entire business.
