Kaycan Hiring for Production Supervisor at Cowansville, QC Full Time

Kaytec, a renowned manufacturer and distributor of building materials in Canada, is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for its Cowansville plant. Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Supervisor will manage a team of 8 people and plan production activities.

Schedule: Continental – 3-2-2-3 – 1 weekend out of 2

Shifts: 12 hours – Monthly rotation : Day / Night

Duties:
Ensure the respect of our high quality standards

Ensure the management of the production team in place for the shift

Apply and enforce health and safety rules in the workplace

Ensure the smooth running of operations on the production lines

Verify and submit production reports

Inform managers of production progress

Report all non-conforming situations and discuss measures to be taken

Ensure good management of discipline and work relations

Provide technical support when required

Collaborate with the quality and maintenance departments

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in personnel management

3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience in managing unionized personnel – An asset

Knowledge of extrusion – An asset

Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards

Bilingual – French and English
