A small 65 place, family run nursery in Brentford is due to open January 2023, is looking for an experienced and exceptional Nursery Manager with passion and pride

Role specification & description

• Lead and manage the staff team, including responsibility for recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance and discipline, in addition to training and support for all staff.
• Plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the staff team, reflective of the EYFS and ensure the Nursery & Pre-school is stimulating and inviting at all times.
• Model good practice and display high levels of commitment to the children and their families.
• Work in partnership with the parents and to develop strong community links.
• Meet and greet parents, show prospective parents around Katey’s Nursery & Pre-school. You will be expected to attend our own open days/evenings to promote and represent Katey’s Nursery and Pre-school, as well as occasional weekend community events.
• Set and expect high levels of standards and good practice from yourself and a small team of staff.
• Complete and update risk assessments.
• Be the point of contact for health and safety.
• Update the relevant policies on a termly basis.
• You will arrange and chair staff meetings, staff appraisals and in-house training workshops.
• Be the setting’s SENCO.
• You will be the setting’s designated lead on Behaviour Management.
• You will be the DSO for the setting

Salary: Competitive
