Kate John Associates Limited Hiring for Global FP&A Manager at Bath Full Time

We are excited to be recruiting a Global FP&A Manager role for a highly successful business in Bath. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1 day per week in the Bath office.

This commercially focused role, within the global finance team, will support the practice with business insight and management information for decision making.

This is a new role in response to the business growth and the need for accurate, timely and insightful Management information / ing.

This role will be focused on consolidating and interpreting financial and management information from across the multi-discipline global business. It will be a pivotal role within the finance senior management team and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the business.

The role includes:

• Running the global multi-region / multi-discipline management accounts consolidation process for month end, budget, and forecasts.
• Supporting FP&A Director in the annual budget and quarterly forecast
• Works closely with the leadership team to produce accurate forecasts, focused on profit, revenue, project margins and cash / DSO.
• Maintain a suite of financial KPI’s that evolve with the practice as we move through our period of strategic growth.
• Produce financial s / dashboard – Interpretation of results, ensure ing provides insightful commentary and actions focused.
• Periodic updates of the practice’s long term strategic plan (1,3,6-year plan). Support the practice with long term strategic planning, through building models and defining key assumptions and plans.
• Maintain and improve on budget & forecast financial model in the business, potential to introduce a budget & ing tool.
• Own and maintain financial risks and opportunities log, with focused action plans.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement to ensure effective support to changing business needs.
• Line management of one member of staff.
• Ad-hoc activities as required.

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Demonstrable prior experience in an FP&A role
• Qualified accountant
• Ideally from Engineering or professional services background
• Participated in financial planning cycles for a global business.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to juggle multiple demands and priorities.
• Experience of preparing high quality information (data & Narrative) for review by senior leadership
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills, and able to demonstrate able to work with various finance systems / databases.
