Job Description

We are looking for a Product Owner to help take our product knowledge to the next level. You’ll be instrumental in growing IT Glue’s product line, and you bring a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and experiences that delight our partners.

Responsibilities

Work with the Product team to write detailed user stories for all new product features and enhancements

Observing, learning about, contacting and analyzing customers and end users of the product

Complete data-driven market research and competitive analyses

Specifying acceptance criteria for each user story, finding suitable “definition of done” and “definition of ready” for every feature

Lead initial requirement gathering, break down user stories, own technical collaborations, and groom product backlog

Be the in-house expert on all things ITG

Assist with knowledge transfer for product marketing efforts

Keep on top of trends and new developments within the IT industry and use that knowledge to help drive product features

Have a pulse on customer and marketplace requirements, taking input from various departments

Follow agreed-upon processes to coordinate all activities related to product delivery

Communicating with various stakeholders and partners regarding product inquiries

Continuing to learn about everything Agile (e.g. visit user groups, attend conferences, read books, write blogs, etc.).

Helping the team to continuously improve process, and fanatically document process

Required Skills

2-3+ years of product owner / product manager experience

Sound understanding of product within the SaaS industry

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment

Self-starter persona, dependable and the ability to respond quickly and accurately on multiple priorities

Proven track record of execution and accountability

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience within the MSP industry an asset
