Responsibilities to Include:

· Operate and maintain:

· Plant water supply & distribution systems including all fixtures

· Plant sewer systems

· Plant fire monitoring and control systems

· Plant steam & compressed air generation and distribution systems

· Plant & Production equipment chilled water generation and distribution systems

· Plant & Production HVAC systems

· Co-ordinate with TSSA

· Co-ordinate for water samples for environmental monitoring

· Co-ordinate with contracts to complete Facilities work orders

· Supervising a team of two-three individuals in Faculties

Qualifications:

· Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Site Allergen Program and HACCP Principles

· Must have valid Stationery Engineer (3rd or 4th class) certification

· Minimum 1 years of experience in similar role

· Hold valid Ref B Certificate

· Working knowledge of Environmental Protections Act

· Working knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act

· Ability to make safe and effective decisions in emergency situations

· Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

· Strong and proven mechanical aptitude in HVAC, plumbing, steam systems

· Highly motivated and strong customer service focus

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment while maintaining a high regards for sensitivity

Must be able to work shift work, holidays, and weekends, being on call.
