Karen Court Music Academy (KCMA) is a well-established leading online music academy that provides excellence in music tutelage to individuals and families. We offer piano, singing and music theory tuition via 1-1 online video calls using Zoom, Skype and FaceTime platforms.

KCMA is currently looking for a energetic, enthusiastic music teachers to join our ever-growing team with the view to expanding.

We work very closely with individuals and families, nurturing musical talent and guiding students on their musical journey, providing the stimulation and engagement during these lessons, so an infectious enthusiasm is a must, especially with our younger students.

Student ages range from 5 years to adult, and abilities range from complete beginners to grade 8 and diploma levels. Students will be matched to the tutor’s ability accordingly. We offer competitive rates of pay and flexible work hours, though most schedules are conducted afternoons from 4.00pm and all day Saturdays.

Essential

Musical background –Grade 7 and above for the instrument you will be teaching.

Knowledge of both ABRSM and Trinity College of Music London syllabuses.

DBS check is mandatory as often working with children

Preferred

Previous experience in teaching (online or in the classroom) is preferred but not necessarily required if candidates are willing to undertake extra training to facilitate this role.

Knowledge of the Rock School London syllabus.
