Karbon is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about delivering an amazing people experience, starting with the interview process through onboarding and beyond. As our Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide top-notch internal and external customer service, working closely with the entire organisation to promote and maintain an environment that focuses on collaboration and teamwork, support, and continuous improvement.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring every candidate receives a stellar interviewing experience. You will also assist with day-to-day operations of the People team and will be the first point of contact for general inquiries regarding benefits, time off and leave policies, and more.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining our ATS and HRIS and keeping all records up-to-date
- Calendar management / scheduling candidate interviews and guiding them through the interview process
- Meeting and greeting candidates who are on-site for interviews
- Working with hiring managers to ensure a seamless interview experience (and potentially onboarding experience)
- Coordinating new employee onboarding including assisting with first day activities, scheduling training sessions, etc.
- Assisting the People team and Talent team with ad-hoc projects as needed
About You
Candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar Human Resources / People Operations role
- Prior experience / proficiency with leading ATS and HRIS software
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- A sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Passionate about providing our candidates and employees with a superb people experience, from interviews and beyond
- Previous startup experience a plus
