Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior full stack Software Engineer who will work on the core Red Marker platform. This will suit someone who is confident and excited to work in a complex architecture and start adding new functionality.
You will be working alongside a high calibre engineering team and looking to learn new skills and techniques. The work is a mix of greenfield and support for legacy services/apps. We can mould the position to suit your career progression goals whether that be continue in front-end or cross skill into back-end work as you grow into the position.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product and technical team during UX design decisions
• Adding features to existing VueJS front end
• Maintaining existing features and UI elements
• Contributing to development of functional test suite
• Participating in Agile ceremonies (Standup, Retro, Sprint Planning, and so on)

Requirements

• Five plus years’ experience as a software Engineer (essential)
• Highly proficient in PHP and Javascript and frameworks such as Laravel and Vue.js. (essential)
• Test Driven Development and associated techniques: (essential)
• Amazon Web Services, in particular EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda
• Linux environments and shell scripting
• Working with queue systems such as RabbitMQ in a Microservice Architecture
• Docker (or similar container technology)
• Skilled with Git
• Skilled and knowledgeable with SQL. NoSQL experience (desirable)
• Experience with testing Frameworks such as PHPUnit. Front end testing (desirable)
