Kao Corp Hiring for Regional Risk and Internal Control Specialist Job at London, England Full Time

As the Regional Risk and Internal Control Specialist you will be responsible for the further design and implementation of the Internal Control Framework for Financial Reporting in the EMEA region. You will work with business partners throughout Europe to ensure that harmonized and standardized ways of working are in place. The Regional Risk and Internal Control Specialist will support change and provide guidance on best practices to management for our countries and business in EMEA.

There is flexibility for this role to be based either in the Shared Service Centre in Amersfoort, NL, Molton Brown HQ in the UK or in Darmstadt Salon HQ, Germany.

The job has many aspects and is challenging with business travel involved. We are looking for an ambitious professional, who wants to grow their skills within Finance and develop a career within Kao. The Internal Control Specialist will report to the Internal Control Manager EMEA.

• Further design and implement the key controls in the Internal Control Framework;
• Working with your business partners to ensure harmonized and standardized ways of working are in place with appropriate internal controls throughout EMEA and make recommendations for improvement;
• Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations and management directives including policies provided by Kao HQ;
• Provide support and resolution of Internal Control risks identified in collaboration with the business management, Internal/External audit and Japan HQ;
• Support the Internal Control Manager EMEA with SAP access management responsibilities.

• A qualified degree in Accounting & Finance (preferably CPA), with at least three years’ of working experience in a Big4 with a strong interest and background in audit and controls;
• Knowledge of corporate governance and internal control models;
• Excellent English skills and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and remotely but also as part of a team;
• A flexible and proactive approach;
• Experience of SAP and access management would be an advantage;
