Job Title: Regional Director – Consultative Sales
s to: COO
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 base plus commission
Location: Southeast Kansas (Must live in SE KS region)
KMS (Kansas Manufacturing Solutions) is a manufacturing consulting organization that implements services such as lean, continuous improvement, strategic planning, executive and supervisor training and coaching, etc. for small and medium sized manufacturers in the state of Kansas. KMS’s services and solutions help manufacturers improve their business results, bettering the communities they reside in and positively impact the Kansas economy.
KMS is looking for a self-motivated sales professional that is comfortable selling to presidents, owners, and CEOs of small to medium-sized manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have dynamic bonding and rapport skills, follows a consultative sales approach, and can comfortably schedule twenty face-to-face meetings per month. This role is a large amount of prospecting.

The Regional Director is the face of KMS to the manufacturers of Kansas. The Regional Director is responsible for an assigned geographical territory in which they manage and advise existing customers and identify and contact prospective clients for the solution investments. They own the customers’ sales cycle, generating sales proposals, managing contracts, and ensuring quality and consistent service/solution delivery. The Regional Director will also work to create awareness of KMS solutions in their territory through appropriate outreach, networking, and awareness material distribution. They perform a wide range of duties which require tact, judgment, independent action, account management and the ability to handle multiple assignments with critical timelines.
