Kansas Department for Children and Families Hiring for Senior Administrative Assistant Full Time

This position is part of a service delivery team that provides financial services to the social service unit in the East Region DCF. This employee provides program support to the adoption specialist and handles financial payments for services purchased to support families served by Prevention and Protection Services (PPS) within the region. This position works with a variety of employees including but not limited to, IV-E Eligibility Supervisor, social services workers, eligibility specialist, adoption specialist, and independent living specialist

Qualifications: Education – General (high school diploma or equivalent)

Experience – length in years and kind: One year of experience in general office, clerical, and administrative support work.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to contribute to a positive work environment through, helpful and courteous to staff, customers and general public. Ability to communicate verbally and in written format effectively.

Licenses, certificates and registrations: Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and a valid security clearance during employment.

Pre-employment Requirements: Security Background Check through Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
