About The Role:
Reporting to the Chief People, Culture and Strategy Officer, the Head of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning will take full responsibility for establishing a centralised recruitment team and standing up the Workforce Planning function within Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI).
Key to this role is a strong focus on building a customer orientated team, providing leadership and guidance to the immediate team, and partnering with the Chief and Heads of, within the People Culture and Strategy team to ensure delivery of the strategy.
You will need to be an effective partner to all parts of the organisation and be willing to understand the daily activities and practices to keep driving continuous improvement. Be that ‘go-to’ person that always assists, supports, and builds the knowledge of others within the organisation.
Understanding system capabilities and how you can alter or use in different ways is crucial. You will be working with an older recruitment system that has limitations, but exciting times are ahead as a new system will need to be implemented in the coming years.

The People, Culture and Strategy team, irrelevant of role, need to be the messengers and ambassadors as we partner with each other, our stakeholders (internally and externally) and potentially new team members.
