Kanata Lakes Animal Clinic located in Kanata Centrum Shopping Plaza, is seeking a full time or part-time veterinary assistant/ receptionist, who is a hardworking and compassionate individual to joint our progressive small animal practice. The position will be ideal for anyone has some experience and wants to learn more about the veterinary field.

Desired Requirements

Should have 2 years of Veterinary experience or graduated from one of the colleges offering Veterinary Assistant Program .

Some of the responsibilities include:

– Perform proper restraint techniques when assisting RVT’s and veterinarians assess and treat patients

– Assist veterinarians and RVT’s while they collect samples and take radiographs

– Provide physical and emotional support to patients

– Help to maintain the hospital treatment areas and ensure general cleanliness

– Answering phones

– Booking appointments

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
