Kamloops Truss Ltd Hiring for General Labourer/Builder – Day shift at Kamloops, BC Full Time

Kamloops Truss is currently seeking Production General Labourers to join our team in Kamloops, BC. The Labourer is a key member of our team and will learn and develop skills and provide general labour duties.

· Proven mechanical aptitude and competent with small tools, mechanics and construction/wood manufacturing preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and quality of work.

· Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.

· Ability to problem solve and think critically.

· Strong communication skills.

· Ability to be highly flexible and prioritize multiple tasks with good time management skills.

· Able to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs. and navigate job site terrain in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Follow safe work procedures and regulations set forth by Kamloops Truss LTD. and WorkSafe BC.

· Assist in the maintenance and general cleanliness of work areas.

· Stack trusses for delivery as required.

· Provide truss materials to the build tables.

· Continuously feed the automated saws with lumber as required.

· Move carts of truss members throughout the shop.

· Confirm all components have been accurately produced and packaged for delivery.

· Assist with general shop duties and regular shop operations requested by the Lead Hand and the Production Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 – $22.00/hr. based on a combination of skills and experience

Schedule: Morning Shift 8-hour shift – Monday to Friday
