The Human Resources Technology Analyst will work as a member of a highly collaborative team, leading in the configuration, testing, implementation and management of HR systems and the utilization of data to create analytics and ing for various business needs.

Our HR Technology Analysts are the go to experts for our cross-functional HR partners (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, HR Service Center, and HR Consulting) and play an integral role in helping HR identify opportunities to leverage technology and provide more efficient support to the organization.

Candidates may be hired as either a HR Technology Analyst or Senior HR Technology Analyst based on skill and experience level.

This is a Hybrid position which provides work from home flexibility on an approval basis.

Job Summary

Through functional service area understanding, systems expertise and a working knowledge of KS’ policies, practices and service delivery model, assists in bridging the needs of functional users with the technical systems capabilities.

Supports development and maintenance of system ing tools and dashboards enterprise-wide. Utilizes technology tools to exceed customer satisfaction expectations and increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Performs a variety of day-to-day tasks to support the administration of technology and data analytics functions.

Essential Responsibilities

System Maintenance / Foundation Support

• Collaborate with division and business partners to determine and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Research options for solutions to technical issues, assessing impact to business process and cross-functional areas.
• Support all phases of testing and issue resolution.
• In partnership with the Enterprise Technology Division, supports system security.
• Supports organizational changes in the system.
• Manages day-to-day business process and system configuration, and executes configuration changes in accordance with governance guidelines.
• Provides support for periodic system upgrades by analyzing new functionality for impacts.

Data Analytics & ing

• Collect and maintain data related to the user life cycle.
• Support data analysis to identify trends, themes, predictions and key learning.
• Elicit requirements and develops s on information as requested. Support writers with troubleshooting and training.
• Supports the development of dashboards to provide visual analytics to targeted audiences.
• Extracts historical information from databases containing legacy data.
• Maintain a variety of s and queries utilizing appropriate ing tools, to support ongoing customer needs.
• Assists in activities related to extraction and consolidation of information from hard copy paper files and legacy record keeping systems.

Projects / System Implementations

• Assist in gathering specifications, monitoring development, and ensuring successful implementation of new or redesigned systems, s, and procedures for users.
• Supports implementation of new systems and added modules.

Process Improvement and Issue Resolution

• Collaborate with functional units to determine feasibility of changes to optimize the system’s capability.
• Keep abreast of changes and trends in technology and data analytics.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the requirements listed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting automated and integrated Information Systems with strong technology or HRIS background.
• Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools, relational databases, writing, spreadsheets, presentation applications, organizational charts, web tools, etc.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and listening skills to understand review, and recommend changes to existing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly through collaboration and training, as well as independent research, to support prompt issue resolution.
• Ability to develop and maintain integrated systems which provide optimum workflow effectiveness and efficiency to support HR’s goals and objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and develop a working relationship with a variety of audiences (internal and external to the Division and organization) and in multiple learning environments (individual, small and large group).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required to ensure data integrity, handle multiple and competing deadlines and compliance to policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Excellent research skills and ability to think creatively to resolve challenges and develop solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Integrated Human Resource Information Systems administration experience.
• Experience implementing and supporting Workday, including understanding of business process configuration, configurable security, dashboard creation, and ing.
• Familiarity with Success Factors.
• Human Resources generalist experience.
• Business Analyst or Project Management experience.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Work experience in an educational environment.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Frequently sits, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light or fine manipulation, talk and hear.
• Occasionally lifts and / or carry, push and / or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
• Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

Working Conditions (including Environmental Conditions)

• This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
• Work is conducted in an office / school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.
• Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours are often required to meet goals and objectives

Based on the compensation range provided below, salaries are commensurate with job-related experience, skills and competencies, education, internal equity, length of work year, and other organizational needs.
