Since launching in 2019, Kaluza’s technology has been empowering some of the biggest energy suppliers to better serve millions of customers.
From revolutionising billing to smart electric vehicle charging, our real-time cloud platforms transform supplier operations, reducing cost to serve and boosting engagement. And most importantly, they enable suppliers’ customers to drive decarbonisation with smart, low carbon technologies.
Kaluza is currently in an exciting growth phase, undergoing the next phase of our international expansion in Melbourne to further reinforce our capabilities as a globally distributed energy platform.
This means that you would be one of the earliest Kaluza employees on the ground in Australia, and a key leader for our team, working directly with our clients in the region.
We’re in the early days of building our team and so in-office presence to us is important – working really closely with our clients to forge a strong working relationship. Our team currently works from our office in Melbourne CBD (Spencer St) 2-3 days per week.
Our goal is to build a self-sufficient and empowered team here on the ground in Australia. We’re well on our way, but until we get there we still have some reliances on our UK team. Being comfortable working flexibly for a portion of your working week to cover time zones is required.
Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?
As Director of Solutions for the Australia and New Zealand region, you’ll be leading our product and services teams that enable retailers to transform their operations and drive the energy transition.
Working across Kaluza’s full product set, you will be directly responsible for a team of solution architects, product managers, and business analysts, setting a clear vision and strategy and coaching them to translate complex local and client-specific needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems.
As a team, you will become experts on the Kaluza software-as-a-service products: how they work, how to configure them, and how to integrate with and extend them. With our clients’ success as your top priority, you will combine this expertise with your knowledge of the energy industry and technology ecosystem to drive high quality, high value solutions in partnership with both local and global product teams.
You’ll be passionate about bringing out the best in others; improving ways of working, fostering a strong product culture, and creating a high-performing cross-functional team, in collaboration with the local leadership team and your global colleagues. As part of the leadership team, you’ll provide peer support and challenge, lead on key initiatives, and make decisions as a group that impact our offerings as a whole.
You will also serve as a key member of our client-facing leadership team, advising executive-level clients and helping them to realise the maximum value from their partnership with Kaluza.
