About the Role:
The Kalmbach Feeds Accounting team requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to both internal and external customers at all levels. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will ensure that all customer checks are applied and deposited in a timely manner, provide accurate and detailed record keeping, and proactively maintain customer balances. As unique situations present themselves, the successful candidate must be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals, team member good will and company reputation.
· Post daily check, cash and credit card payments, while
ensuring confidentialityand security to all files
· Apply incoming ACH funds from customers
· Process customer banking information
· Run daily banking reports
· Answer incoming calls from customers
· Initiate and send month end statements to customers
· Apply and track customer prepayments
· Review reconciling items and clear as necessary
· Support daily invoicing function with salesperson and customer requests
· Other ad-hoc assignments based on time and need
· Able to commute to our corporate office in Upper Sandusky, OH
Who You Are:
· Minimum of High School Diploma required (1-2 years accounting experience preferred)
· Possess high energy and the drive required to proactively execute accounting duties within a dynamic business environment
· Outstanding time management and organizational skills
· Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
· Thrives in fast pace work environment
· Acquires strong investigation and follow up skills; high attention to detail
· Proficient in windows based software programs
