As Software Engineering Manager, you will to the VP, APAC working closely with stakeholders across the global organisation delivering outcomes which will support goals and initiatives across product, sales, marketing and customer success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate enhancements in system administration, network engineering, software/system architecture, and virtualization/database platforms.
• Manage functional and technical specifications, collaborating with BA/Scrum Master as needed for project work.
• Drive Agile principles across a high performing team.
• Mentoring individuals who work well in strong teams.
• Ensure platform and the wider business as a whole retains its compliance and certifications.
• Conduct reviews and ensure the currency and maintenance of security systems, code, policies, and processes.
• Direct the execution and ing of periodic security, redundancy, and disaster recovery test programs.
• Oversee the upgrading and maintenance of the company’s tech stack, development infrastructure, and quality assurance environments.
• Provide leadership and training to team members.
• Offer high-level strategic input across the company as required.

Experience required:

• Managed and lead development teams with a minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Management experience within a SaaS environment – at the very least for a software company.
• Proven self-starter with an exceptional grasp of software development tools and processes.
• Work experience in an agile team setting, ensuring accountability to milestones and outcomes.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills and a creative problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong technical proficiency, demonstrating the ability to engage with the team in contributing to technical plans and designs.
• Solid foundational skills in working with cloud computing (AWS), networking, and physical hardware.

Benefits:

• $150k – $170k base + Super + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid working environment (2 days in the office)

Important to note – depending on this person’s seniority, there is scope for them to be Head of Software Engineering.
