As a Senior Marketing Executive for Talent Acquisition and Academy, you will lead a small team that creates and delivers the marketing strategy and campaigns designed to help Kainos hire great staff at all levels to fuel our continued growth! We grow fast and that’s dependant on hiring great people at all levels including nurturing talent early via our Kainos Academies.

Working with colleagues in our talent and brand teams, you will develop and own marketing plans, campaigns or content programmes that fully align with commercial priorities to support our global growth. Managing your team to execute against objectives.

You will use your experience and commercial knowledge to drive progress, coach your team and maximise the impact of marketing on the business. You will foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders acting as a trusted marketing partner.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing strategy, plans and budgets – you will create, own and implement the strategy and marketing plan, aligned to commercial priorities in Academy and Recruitment. Managing your team to ensure delivery is on time and within budget. You will own the marketing budget for your area.

• Owning, creating and activating campaigns and content – you will create, or guide the creation of by your team, campaigns and marketing content to amplify our employer brand, hire great people and support Academy goals. You will ensure effective implementation of campaigns across a variety of channels to achieve objectives. Utilising a range of techniques across your team including eDM, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising and physical events.
• Reporting, accountability and ROI – you will drive marketing effectiveness and ROI reporting on campaigns and activities utilsing a transparent approach via evaluation and analysis. Working with colleagues across Marketing Technology and Ops you will optimise effectiveness and cascade learning through your team.

• Working as a team with a focus on developing and managing others – you will proactively work and collaborate as part of the wider marketing team to deliver against overall OKRs. You’ll manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on managing employee performance and assisting in their career development. You will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders of all levels across the business acting as a trusted advisor.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

• Significant relevant experience in marketing and content
• Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive business results and meet objectives – from inception through to evaluation
• Demonstrable experience of marketing techniques including eDM, automation/nurtures, webinars, organic and paid social media, SEO/search, digital advertising and physical events; stays abreast of developments and willingness to coach/upskill team.
• Experience of managing people or small team
• PR understanding and ability to write press releases and liaise with key media
• A self-starter who is highly motivated, confident, focussed, disciplined with a drive to succeed, whilst upholding Kainos values

• Show resilience and persistence with the ability to learn from mistakes plus guidance and coaching from colleagues

• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to cultivate ideas, utilising creative writing while holding to branding and messaging direction and strategy
• Ability to think ‘outside the box’
• Comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensure security of information at all times.

Desirable:

• Degree or Higher in Marketing, Communications or a similar, relevant discipline
• Professional qualification in marketing or specialised area (e.g. CIM)
• Experience of using CRM and/or marketing automation desirable
• Experience of owning marketing or content for an area of business, product, or project
• Event management and project management
• Good knowledge or experience in the technology industry and understanding of trends in order to shape plans and content.
