JVD Installations Inc. is Looking for Labourer Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Labourers for our Kitimat site located in British Columbia. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating light to heavy equipment within an industrial construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment, including scaffold gear equipment and materials.
• Assist equipment operators with spotting.
• Complete daily paperwork and participate in toolbox talks.
• Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program.
• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in an industrial construction setting.
• Committed to working in a safe and efficient manner
• Excellent problem-solving skills required.
• Good analytical ability and manual dexterity.
• Successful candidates are required to have valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

Position Information

• Located in Kitimat, BC
• Rotation is 14/7 and 20/8 (Eastern Provinces Only)
• Transportation from designated pick-up locations to site for local residents is provided
• Charter flights from Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Prince George, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Halifax and St. John’s
• Camp accommodations in an executive camp provided
• Additional 12% project incentive paid WEEKLY to all employees!
