As Finance Assistant at Just Eat for Business, you will be working in a fast paced and growing team, with a passion for food as well as technology! About the role

Responsibilities

• Preparing and posting month-end adjustments, including production of balance sheets reconciliation
• Proactively working with local teams and wider Group teams to support on broad range of Finance-related tasks
• Support Finance Manager to ensure all Group reporting requirements and deadlines are met
• Resolving credit control challenges
• Processing and setting up payments for suppliers
• Ensure accurate and timely completion and submission of VAT returns
• First point of contact for supporting our outsource finance function

Who we’re looking for

• We love hungry people (obviously!) with a ‘can-do’ attitude, ability to use their own initiative and a strong desire to learn and develop within Finance
• A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well with others
• A degree and/or academic qualification in a related field
• Highly computer literate with a good understanding of how to use common industry software (e.g. Google Suite/MS Office applications, such as Gsheets/Excel etc…)
• Several year experience working in a fast-paced, corporate environment
• Some experience working in an accounting or finance department
• Enrolled in professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) would be desirable
• Excellent maths knowledge
