The Scrum Master is an experienced professional who facilitates agile product development for one or more scrum teams. As a critical member of the scrum team, you will enable the team to deliver value each sprint and remove obstacles that the team faces.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with members of the core team to ensure that priorities are clear for the team.

Primary Job Duties

• Consistently teach and mentor team members on the principles and practices of Scrum, Kanban, Agile, and Lean
• Serve as a Scrum Master for two scrum teams
• Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Work with scrum team members to size and scope the backlog
• Work with Agile Product Owner to ensure that the backlog is prioritized and user stories are in ready-to-play state
• Run sprint planning, sprint end demos, sprint retrospectives, daily standups and other sprint ceremonies
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of work so that relevant and reliable information is available to all decision-making stakeholders
• Coach leaders associated with the scrum team, including but not limited to, Agile Product Owners and Functional Managers
• Understand the products being worked on champion the Rectangle Health vision and mission

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Good coaching, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaboration cross-functionally with diverse groups of people
• Understand Agile and working in 2-week release cycles
• Ability to always put the customer first

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with Scrum
• Agile Certification (CSM, CSP, CSPO, SPC4, etc )
• Experience developing commercial solutions for external users
• Experience with solutions serving healthcare customers
• Familiarity with SaaS and cloud-based applications / environments
