POSITION CONCEPT: Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a part-time Education Manager to serve teachers and volunteers in the Metro Milwaukee area. This position offers the opportunity to plan and implement JA programming, including developing and maintaining good educator relationships at all levels. Highly visible position in the education and business community, offering the opportunity to add creativity, expertise, and fresh ideas to JA’s resource generation efforts. Ideal position for a highly motivated, high energy professional with sales ability who can meet goals and deadlines. Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills are required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and develop new partnerships as well as strengthen current partnerships to secure volunteer resources and funding, while maintaining accurate records
• Make sales calls and presentations to new and current businesses, organizations, and schools within Metro Milwaukee area
• Attend meetings and networking opportunities to enhance Junior Achievement brand, awareness and volunteer/program opportunities
• Develop and implement effective strategies to recruit volunteers to grow and impact students
• Annually renew volunteer and business commitments
• Ensure program growth and reach
• Ensure customer satisfaction and program quality through face-to-face, phone and electronic communication
• Assure quality programming through phone calls, classroom monitoring, evaluation instruments and program follow up
• Continually provide feedback, materials, and other resources to educators
• Helps increase public awareness in the education community through presentations, newsletters and communication meetings
• Working with our constituent management database (BCRM), accurately enter all program information and run queries/reports relating to programs and volunteers
• Assist with events and other program related needs assigned
• Other duties assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree, preferred, Associates degree or experience in the field of program management. Good organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Demonstrated sales and marketing ability. Strong oral and written communication and problem-solving skills. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and data management a must. Capable of working independently. Ability to prioritize tasks. Competency in or willingness to learn computer-based programs. Knowledge of Metro Milwaukee education communities a plus. Passion for education. Must have valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
