July Hiring for Social Media Manager at Collingwood, Victoria, Australia Full Time

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating content across visual mediums and copywriting to support our marketing channels. You will champion platform specific content across our social platforms by developing engaging content ideas and keeping up to date with emerging social trends to ensure we are market leading on these channels. 

You will have experience across social and digital content creation, photoshoot/video production and/or execution experience and editorial or brand copy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Social media growth across all channels (including setting KPIs and growth goals and tracking against these)  
• Develop, refine and manage channel specific content strategies July’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
• Create, refine and manage bringing July to life on YouTube and TikTok through channel specific content strategies (posting 20+ TikToks per week) 
• Copywriting and editing messaging in the brand’s tone of voice across a variety of touchpoints including social channels, EDM, website, blog
• Regularly ideate, innovate and create in-house content for July’s social channels in collaboration with the Creative and Marketing teams
• Respond to content briefs ensuring content output aligns with the brief both creatively and commercially and is executed in the brand tone of voice and style
• Working with the partnerships and influencer team to foster and develop on-brand UGC content for our channels
• Work with PR Lead to establish and execute social partnerships strategy 
• Build out the content creator guidelines along with the Creative Lead to ensure quality of content from influencers/content creators for each channel
• Build out content pillars for all social media platforms along with the Creative Lead
• Set the strategy for content creation needed across all social media channels per campaign/marketing play (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter)
• Forward plan social media marketing across all channels and keep up with trends (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter)
• Run strategy initiatives on the social channels

Key Requirements:

• ​​A creative thinker and content obsessed – not afraid to challenge the status quo and to think global
• Photo and video editing skills
• Professional working knowledge of digital media, web content, storyboarding and shoot production
• Deep knowledge of social media analytics and applying insights towards growth and engagement goals to ensure marketing leading content outputs
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
• Experience as a professional writer or videographer a bonus
• Self-motivated, exceptionally organised and an eye for attention to detail
• Ability to accept feedback and apply in a timely manner
