Senior Staff Nurses required – Intensive Care Unit

Permanent, Full-Time hours.

Salary up to £45000 per annum plus 9% Shift Enhancement and excellent benefits

Job Overview:

As a Senior Staff Nurse working in ICU you will use you experience and knowledge to assess, plan and deliver high standards of specialist care to ensure that our patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. With your experience and understanding you will meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues. Plus, with our nurse to patient ratio frequently at 1:1, we will give you the opportunity to do what you do best: Care.

The role will keep you challenged and will give you the opportunity to develop your existing skills with our commitment to progressing careers. We encourage and support professional development.

Skills & Experience:

• Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
• Neuro, Cardiac or General ITU/HDU specific skills and experience.
• Motivated and forward thinking individual with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Practical and Critical thinker.
• Practice Assessor Course
• Completed Critical Care Course
• Current ILS/ALS
