JS Recruitment Ltd Hiring for Chief Cardiac Physiologist at Weston-super-Mare Full Time

We are looking for a Chief Cardiac Physiologist to work as part of the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions.

As a Chief Cardiac Physiologist, you will be proficient with BSE ing guidelines, providing a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support our trainee physiologists and be involved in our clinical audit programme. Be a role model demonstrating leadership and ensuring proficiency of the service.

Contract: Full time. Monday-Sunday – 8 hours between the hours of 08:00-17:30

Salary: Range up to £52,000 pa DOE with a Welcome Bonus (T&C’s apply)

The Role:

• Perform and adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local ing guidelines.
• Provide expert clinical guidance via our second opinion rota, ensuring our ing guidelines are adhered to during clinical peer-review.
• Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
• Submit s and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOP
• Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals
• Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.

Qualifications, Attributes and Skills:

• Demonstrate experience in leading, supporting and mentoring a Team.
• BSc in Medical Science / Cardiophysiology
• Experience of performing and ing adult transthoracicechocardiograms to BSE standards
• Hold a current BSE
• A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles
• A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
