Description: The Medical Education Coordinator performs a variety of general office and administrative functions and education program tasks in support of the Program Director, House Staff, faculty, and Academic Affairs office. This job must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and of the larger institution in organizing and independently prioritizing work, establishing procedures and systems, and ensuring orderly and timely work flow.

Typical Duties:

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 
  3 plus years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  
• 5 plus years of experience in medical and/or health administration.
  

Preferred Education and Experience:


• Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited University.
  
• 3 plus years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  
• 3 plus years of experience with New Innovations or similar GME software application and/or Residency Data Management System.
  
• 2 plus years of experience in a GME office and resident scheduling activity coordination.
