We are looking for premier Software Engineers to join our newly formed Athena Cloud Architecture & Engineering team In this team you will work with front-office, quantitative researchers, and other technology teams to accelerate the adoption of and cloud technologies. Our work is focused on business use-cases and collaboration across multiple teams and lines of businesses. The ideal candidate will be adept at working across a globally disperse and fast paced organization.

Required skills to be considered for this role:

• Demonstrable experience in software development with Python and other object-oriented languages
• Experience designing cloud applications and successfully deploying them to production
• Strong systems engineering and software development skills.
• Experience building high performance, highly available and scalable systems
• Experience with Public Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud
• Experience with Linux/UNIX based environments.
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Excellent problem solving, root cause analysis and debugging skills.

Preferred skills:

• Development skills in Python or other object-oriented languages
• Experience working with and developing APIs
• Database technologies including both relational and NoSQL
• Strong SDLC mindset and familiarity with agile paradigms
• Experience within DevOps, Infrastructure design and transformation roles
• Experience with scripting and compiled languages, especially Bash, Python and C++.
• Comfortable working across different platforms and languages
