We are looking for Business Intelligence Engineers to join our newly acquired business, Global Shares (a J.P. Morgan Company). The Global Shares Transaction was announced on March 15, 2022. Founded in 2005, Global Shares is a leading cloud-based provider of share plan management software. What you will do:

• Design, develop and test end to end BI solutions using a data streaming process into a dimension data warehouse, and then design, build and test reports, and dashboards.
• Implements data structures using best practices in data modelling, processes, and technologies.
• Enhance the performance of business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and indexes, lead performance tuning of BI applications.
• Merge BI platforms with the Global Shares web-based product lines systems. Perform data conversions, imports and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems.
• Collect, analyse, and share data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience, and business results.
• Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software and track performance and production issues, and manages the escalation of production issues

Interested? Here’s what we are looking for:

• Experience in Business Intelligence, analytics and reporting platforms with specific experience in one of the market leaders (Sisense Tableau, Power BI etc).
• 5 or more years of Experience in Extract-Transform-Load processes
• Experience in data warehousing practises including confirmed dimensional models, orchestration, error handling and meta-data analysis’
• Microsoft SQL Server knowledge is required with strong skills in writing & optimising SQL queries for analytics.
• Project experience with the proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently leveraging excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Experience providing business-related/and or technical subject matter expertise on large, highly complex reporting projects and business analytics to support management, multi-functional departments, staff members, and peers. Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain confidential and complex issues and make recommendations to leadership.

Nice to haves/let us support your upskilling:

• Experience working with data streaming, using kafka and Debezium.
• Knowledge of specific business intelligence tools (such as Sisense, Tableau, Full Microsoft BI Stack).
• Experience working with source control repositories e.g. GIT.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.
• Awareness and desire to work with complex data analytics, data products, and Big Data technologies.
• A deep knowledge of T-SQL query optimisation for extract into BI models
