JP Towing Service & Storage LTD Hiring for Dispatcher/Customer Service at Toronto, ON Full Time

JP Towing is a family operated business since 1988. Established in Toronto, a one truck operations has grown to be one of the biggest leaders of the towing industry. Helping develop and train drivers and staff, that have gone onto operating their own. JP Towing is currently looking for the next successor in a Dispatcher/Customer Service role.

• We are currently looking for Day, with all availabilities, Day’s Night’s and Weekend’s
• Someone with at least 5 years experience in a customer service role.
• Remarkably proactive, someone that looks for things to do
• Able to be flexible, with shifts and days
• Someone calm, collective and able to remain like that under pressure
• Universal adaptive personality with a “can do” attitude
• A vast knowledge of the Toronto streets or usage of GPS software.
• Communicate well with all in person and over a two-way radio
• Able to be innovative with increasing sales
• Active learner, pays attentions to detail
• Has discretion and is an advocate of confidentiality

Expectations

• Responsible communication with our customers vehicles that are impounded by Toronto Police Services.
• Maintaining a clear communication with customers.
• Answering inquiries from inbound calls
• Open communication with fellow call takers, dispatchers and management
• Liaising with clients: receive and confirm details of orders, maintain effective proactive client communications including tracking and tracing results as needed
• Effectively plan and prioritize all calls making the best use of equipment and drivers while meeting service expectation levels.
• Provide continuous monitoring of all drivers and equipment, ensuring accurate recording of times and clearing
• Liaise with drivers and management to arrange for any damage claims

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• GTA/Toronto Dispatching: 1 year (required)
• Direct customer service: 5 years (required)
• High Call Volume Customer Service Call Centre: 5 years (required)
• Local and GTA GPS Knowledge: 2 years (preferred)
